ThermoCoat are EXCLUSIVE distributors and once you’re approved by us, you can attract more customers, work with more architects and be rest-assured that unlike traditional render systems, Corticyte will offer you and your customers long-term peace of mind with superior results.

To enter the market, you’ll need to participate in our approved-installers training programme where you can learn more about the product, use cases, jobsite preparation, equipment, and application techniques. You’ll also receive your very own ThermoCoat brochures and sample swatches that you can use when specifying Corticyte to your customers.

ThermoCoat Approved Installers Scheme Overview

Corticyte is best used by those already in the exterior decorating or wall rendering industry. The reputation of our product is key to its success and before you become an approved installer, you’ll need to demonstrate your experience in the coating, render or plastering industry.

Our Approved Installer Scheme is a 1-day training course that includes classroom-based learning before we let you try the product in our spray booth! Once we’ve assessed your capabilities, you’ll receive an Approved Installers certificate along with an identification badge. You can also order your Approved Installer crest for use on vehicles, leaflets, and websites.

Once you’ve graduated from our Approved Installers training day, you’ll know enough to get started and you’ll have the confidence to sell the concept to your customers. You will know the dos and don’ts of Corticyte, the use cases for the product and you will understand processing parameters and installation techniques.

ThermoCoat Approved Installers Benefits

You probably want to know what’s in it for you to become an Approved Installer? Our scheme covers everything you need to know about Corticyte and this is what you’ll get when you undertake the course.

We’ll teach you about the product, how its harvested and how it’s made.
You’ll learn about the sustainability features and why it’s the render system of choice.
We’ll cover the processing parameters, different type of equipment needed and ongoing consumables, parts, and maintenance.
You’ll gain a full understanding of project requirements, jobsite preparation and the use cases of the product.

We’ll show you how to prepare the product, mixing, colour tinting and application techniques.
You’ll grab the gun and spray some test samples yourself, getting to grips with how it feels to spray cork and get the desired finish.
We’ll run our end of day classroom or online exam so that you get to test your knowledge on what you’ve learnt.
You’ll walk away with your Corticyte Approved Installers Certificate, Identification Card, merchandise, and logos.

What Happens Once You'rE Approved?

Don’t worry, you’re not on your own! As an Approved Installer, you’ll have enough knowledge to push forward but from time to time, you’ll need technical support and advice. We are always on the end of the phone, and you’ll have mobile numbers for our Technical Team who are here to support you, weekday, evenings, and weekends!

Training Costs

We charge a fee of £250 per delegate (based on 2 delegates) for the Approved Installers Scheme. If there are more people in your team who want to come and train, we charge just £75 per additional delegate.
